Becca's 1st School Christmas Program

Last Thursday Becca Bean had her first Christmas school program. She did such a great job and we were so proud of her! She loves school and we love watching her do these fun things with her class! What a great girl!

Just a little update

It has been a really long time since I have posted anything. So here is what has been happening around here. Rebecca loves school so much she is reading a lot more and loves to get homework. Becca has made a lot of friends she has gotten a lot more social and now will not let other kids tell her what to do. I am the room mother for her class and I also get to go help in her class once a week. It has been so fun to see her be social and play with more kids, and help her with some of her school work. Rylee loves to come with me and she thinks that she is part of the class, even becca's friends are her friends also or at least that is what Rylee thinks.
Rylee is having fun being at home and hanging out without Becca we finally get to have some good one on one time. She gets to play with her friend Ethan without her sister there telling them both what to do. She has grown up so much the past few months. I had taken her to the school to get pictures so the girls had matching ones, and when I got them back I did not reconize her when did she get so big. I miss having a little kid around. both of the girls are so head strong they know what they want and how to do it. It is hard letting them do things for themselves, but it is also nice not to have to help them so much I know it sounds werid but that is how I feel. Hopefully one day we will have another little baby around here.
I guess not a whole lot has happened with us, mostly just the same things everyday but with Halloween and the holidays comming up I will have some more things to write about. I will get some pictures posted also.

My Baby is growing up

OFF TO SCHOOL...

Next week Rebecca will be starting school. I am so very exicted for her. I am aslo exicted for myself. Rebecca is always fun to have around but some days I need a break. She is always asking questions and wanting to do school work, yes you heard right she loves to do school work. I had purchased a few school books last year and she loves to do them. I am not sure how long it will last with her now heading off to school but I am hoping it will last.
She has always been a smart kid and I am exicted that she can now go to school and learn more, more than I could teach her. She already has her school clothes picked out for thursday, friday and the following week. She has told rylee that when she gets home form school everyday that she is going to teach her what she learned that day. I hope she has better luck that I have because if you ask rylee what her favoriate number is she will say "R". It was cute the first few times but now I am getting concerned. Okay not really concerned but wondering why she has not picked up on the difference between letters and numbers.
I am so proud of my little girl she is growing up so fast and I miss that little two year old that was so funny and loved to play with me. I can not wait to see all that she is going to acomplish in her life. Look out world here she comes.

My Girls

Becca and Rylee love spending time at papa and granma great's house. They love playing in the backyard and picking up pine cones for papa great (its fun that work is cosidered fun at this age, they just don't know any better!!). What great helpers!

It has been a very long time since I have posted anything. Life just seems to go by with the same things happening. The only big change is that chris has a new job. He now works for select comfort in the provo towne center. He is doing really good and having fun. It is nice to see him back to himself and not so stressted out all the time.
We are also enjoying the nicer weather the past few days we are outside all the time we went to the park yesterday. Chris was able to go with us. He has been working in the afternoons so he has the mornings with us which I really enjoy. Anyways the park was fun Becca ran and ran around the walking path I am surprised she has so much fun just running. Ofcourse Rylee had to do whatever becca did it was cute to see her follow becca around and make sure we saw what she was doing. The girls are so much fun and surprise me everyday with the thing that they know and can do. I will post pictures tonight or in the morning chris has to show me how.

Kid knees

I always find it fun to hear and read about all the funny things that kids say. And I wanted to share somrthing that becca said this weekend. We were on our way to a wedding reception and had my mom with us.
Chris; " Hey Micki you are going to buy me a drink right?"
Mom :"No soda is not good for you, it is bad for you kidneys"
(Than becca points to her knees )
Becca: "Well I can, because my kid knees are just fine."
I am always laughing at the things that come out of her mouth. I am so blessed to have such funny girls.

Happy Birthday Babe!

Yesterday was chris' birthday he is now 26. I think that he had a good birthday. We went up to my sisters for dinner,and played the wii. He also got himself a nintendo ds from all his birthday cash. I hope that he had a great day and knows how much we all love him.

I have finally done it.

I have finally decided to start my own little blog. I need to learn how to put up photos and all but this is a start. I hope that everyone who looks at my blog will have fun reading about our family and all the crazy things that goes on. I will post pictures as soon as I can.
